Name: Color Fever
Brand: Lancome
Size: 3.99g
Price: 23€

From Lancome’s website:
COLOR FEVER delivers incredibly luminous, vibrant color. Color smoothly glides along your lips with sensuous comfort leaving lips feeling smooth and supple. LIGHT-MAXIMIZING PIGMENTS™ use light as a prism to bring you the most intense, lasting shine.
No need to compromise long wear for color, this lipcolor has it all – a long wear, hydrating texture that wraps your lips in cushioned comfort. Color stays true with no feathering or fading.

What I liked:
– the shade
– lips feel smooth
– not drying
– the packaging

What I didn’t like:
– the price

Lancome Color Fever Lip Color is available in 37 shades. The one I have is n°18, which is called So Frivolous Rouge in Europe and Dancefloor Red in USA. The shade is a cool, true red, which is very wearable. I usually find it hard to find a shade of red I can pull off, but this one works well for me. This shade has shimmers in it, which gives your lips a lovely shine, but isn’t gritty.

The lipstick isn’t drying. When I applied it, my lips felt very smooth and moisturized. I usually wear lip balm with lipsticks and glosses but this time I didn’t need it. I really like the texture and the way it felt on my lips.

The staying power is ok. It lasts a few hours and it was still there, even thought a bit faded, after I has a small bite to eat, so it needed to be reapplied.

I also like the packaging, which is nice, slick and very glam. The only bad thing is the price, which is a bit expensive.

Overall, this is a great lipstick. The shade is gorgeous and has a bit of shimmer in it. It leaves lips smooth and moisturized and isn’t drying. It is expensive, though.

Rating: 4/5
