How to apply false eyelashes

Long eyelashes make eyes look bigger and fuller, but not eveyone is blessed with them. However you can use false eyelashes to achieve that dramatic look and make your eyes stand out. If you have never done it before, applying false eyelashes can be tricky, frustrating and time consuming but follow this steps and keep practising and you’ll be applying them like a pro.

Step 1: before you apply the lashes, line your upper lashline with a dark eyeliner pencil and smudge it slightly. This will conceal the lash band.

Step 2: most false eyelashes are too long for most women, so they need to be trimmed. Measure the lashes to your own eye to see how they fit across the lid. Then trim off any excess from the outer edge. Also, trim the ends unvenly to get a more natural look.

Step 3: apply a thin line of glue to the base of the strip and allow it to dry for a few seconds before applying the false eylash to your own eyelash line.

Step 4: using tweezers or your fingers, apply the false eyelashes starting from the outer corner of your eye and work you way inwards. Press and hold the false eyelashes as close to your own lash line as possible.

Step 5: Fill any gaps between the false lashes and your natural lash line with eyeliner. If you prefer, you can use an eyeshadow as liner.

What do you think of false eylashes? Have you ever used them?

sab: you’re right, falsies are so dramatic. It’s not so hard to apply them once you get the hang of it, you just need a bit of practice. Let me know how it goes!

Sophia: everytime? wow! I could never do that, I’m too lazy lol

Tammy M: I know how you feel! I found it hard to apply them at the beginning too. I’m sur you’ll get the hang of it soon, just kep practicing!

Nikki: Thanks! I know, I’ve had so many problems with them at the beginning. It’s ok now, although I rarely use them.
